Usually, YouTube is pretty bad at recommending music. It’s always something as politically-charged and annoying as new Taylor Swift or something as bland as 95% of techno music. This time it was different and I discovered the new single ‚Drive‘ from James Japan. ‚Drive‘ turns out to be my go-to jam for the upcoming week.

New York-based singer James Japan has hand-crafted and delivered this driving slow jam for our listening enjoyment. His vocals float over a tastefully arranged instrumental, which blends analog synths, Hip hop drums, and percussion. To make things simple and still interesting is the greatest strength of this track for me.
